So let's get to business. I am so excited to tell you about our Napa trip that has sadly come and gone.
Why do vacations always feel like that? You anticipate it and wish for it to hurry and get here. Then poof. OVER! And it always just flies by. Days usually feel fast but when on vacation they feel even faster!
Going to Napa was SO much fun. AMAZING really. Me and the Mr. had a great time together. Kids were with grandma, which was nice to have a break but we felt lost at times without all the normal chaos around us.
We did so much while away. Enjoyed the scenery, ate lots of great food, tried new wines and visited several wineries. What did all that include?
Well, here you go!
Drove around San Fran, stopped at the painted ladies (yep those famous row of houses from Full House) and had some In and Out Burger (Yum. Yum. Yum.) at the Fisherman's Wharf. Stopped on our way to Napa and walked thru the breathtaking redwood forest at Muir Woods. Stayed at the Harvest Inn in St. Helena. Eateries we indulged in were Bounty Hunter in downtown Napa, Market in downtown St. Helena, Gott's Roadside in St. Helena (which we ate at twice because it was just too good not to), and La Condesa in St. Helena. We had coffee and and yummy treats from Le Bouchon. Enjoyed a picnic lunch and wine at V. Sattui and wine tastings at Sterling, Stags Leap Cellars, Rutherford Hill and Kuleto.
If you get the chance to go to Napa. DO IT! We LOVed every minute of being there and can't wait to go back!
