For Christmas I put together special gift sets. I would of shared sooner but I finally passed out my
last one. Didn't want to spoil the surprise!
I wanted to do something thoughtful and useful. Also with a vintage, handmade twist.
Bath salt in a mason jar.
This was so easy to put together and what a great way to remind that special person to relax and take some time for themselves. Also a great bathroom decor piece!
All you have to do is this:
1. Get yourself a mason jar. I used a vintage blue Atlas jar. You could even easily go buy one from Michaels and buy it dirt cheap using their famous 40% off coupons.
2. Fill it with your favorite bath salt. I used lavender since that is my all time fav smell.
3. Make a tag and personalize. Mine were made right on the computer and cut out using my tag puncher. Tied it on with some jute twine.
I was so happy how these turned out that I'm even thinking about putting more together to sell at the flea market. What do you think? Would you buy one?

I also gave a set of "twine on a stick". These have been such a hit in my shop. So many uses for twine and always adds a fun touch to gift wrapping.
So, next time you need to give a gift think about doing something from
"yourself" that you put together. Skip getting something store bought.
I promise you it will be much more meaningful to that special person.

I'd buy one and the stick 'o' twine too!
